---12th OF APRIL:
-Malovelent coming up album "The Will To Kill" won't be produced by Peter Tagtgren as announced eariler. It will see the day of light in the last months of this year.

---11th OF APRIL:
-Exodus started to write material for a new album with Steve Souza on the vocals. It won't be out before 2003.

---10th OF APRIL:
-Voivod will enter the studio in this summer to record a new album which will appear under Century Media in the first months of 2003. Bass will be played by Jason Newsted, hired only as a studio musician.
-Kataklysm will enter the studio on may to record a new album "Shadows and Dust" which will hit the shelves on 4th of november.

---9th OF APRIL:
-Amorphis has a new drummer, Jan Rechberger, which has recorded with the band the first 2 albums. He has replaced Pekka Kasari whom has left the band to focus upon his family.

---8th OF APRIL:
-Voivod will make their first re-union appereance on 26th of april on a show in Hamilton, then will support Motorhead in Toronto and Montreal. The line-up will the classical except the bass duty which will be filled in by Vincent Peake.
-Kirk Hammet has declared that David Ellefson won't be Metallica's new bass player depite the rumors.

---5th OF APRIL:
-Dave Lombardo will play in Slayer at least to the end of this year, no informations have been given about the auditions for a new drummer.

---3rd OF APRIL:
-Dave Mustaine has left Megadeth because of a severe injury he suffered on his left arm making him unable to play. Succesively the band has disbanded. As Dave states the recovery will last at least a year, and even then he doesn't know if will be able to play the guitar again. Now he will focus on his family and other musical fields of interests without playing instruments.

---1st OF APRIL:
-Violence has aquired the rights to their '88 debut album, "Eternal Nightmare". They are looking for a label willing to re-release it, a 2nd cd will be included, with their show from december 2001 in San Francisco. "Torture Tactics", their EP from '91 will be re-released by MegaForce.
